I am 100% a lover of the smoothie life! I think that smoothies are a wonderful and quick way to get your nutrients in and keep it moving. As a business owner, wife and mommy, sometimes feeding myself can come last in line. But we should all know, that is never a good thing! Skipping meals and eating our little one’s left overs are not the answer to increased vitality and health! If we want to keep our energy up and keep our metabolism rocking for years – We Must EAT!

But with that said, we know time isn’t always on our side. Our busy lifestyles often lack the time we need to healthfully prepare three healthy meals a day. So this is why I love smoothies.

- They can be made quickly

- You can prep your ingredients ahead of tie

- Easier to have more fruits and veggies in one serving in a smoothie rather than on a plate

- Because the blender has done some of the work, its easier on your digestive system and you are still getting the fiber content!

- Packed with vitamins and minerals

My Green Colada is one of my favorite green smoothies. I love squeezing two servings of greens into my smoothie and knowing that I got all that nutrition into my body. Kale, coconut water and banana = instant bliss moment! Here’s the recipe so you can experience some bliss for your day too!

8oz coconut water

Vanilla Un-denatured Whey Protein

1 frozen banana

2 handfuls frozen kale

1 tbsp coconut flakes
